Nowlan Park, Sunday, June 21st, 2009
Former St. Aidan's students, Tomás Brady and Joey Boland powered the Dubs to victory over Wexford in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship semi-final at Nowlan Park today. This will be Dublin's first Leinster Hurling Final since 1991 and like that day they will meet Kilkenny in the final. Brady had a star performance at full-back, with and equally impressive display from Joey Boland at right half back. The final will be played in Croke Park on July 5th at 4.00 p.m. Best of luck to both!
Hopefully their success with inspire our U14 players and their mentors, Mr. Sean Moore and Mr James Carmody to further success after their victory in this year's Dublin U14 Schools Championship.
