The St. Aidan's team, departing from the school at 8.15 a.m and held up by road works near Newry, arrived in time for a quick warm-up before the Junior event. This did not prevent Conor Turner from scoring a resounding gun to the tape victory to become National Junior Champion. The team gave great support to Conor and managed to place 3rd in the event overall.
In the Senior competition, the team was narrowly edged out by St. Eunans Letterkenny in the attempt to gain back to back victories after last year's heroics. Eoin, Colin, Lar and Jordan ran to their full potential and lost nothing in a narrow defeat.
Gold, Silver and Bronze - all team members came home with a medal. Well done to coach O'Neill - a day to remember in the annals of St. Aidan's C.B.S.
