ATHLETICS - ALL-IRELAND GLORY (April '04)

Our athletes just don't know the meaning of losing! On Friday April 23rd they were crowned All-Ireland C.B.S. track and filed champions. This was a a tremendous achievement following on from being crowned Leinster cross-country champions. Overall, St. Aidan's finished second in Ireland.

Our athletes showed great tenacity and focus on this sunny day in the National Stadium, Santry. They supported eachother all the way and our senior athletes were always on had to share their experience and give advice to our young champions. This fantastic start to the season puts St. Aidan's back on the track and field map where we hope to stay for a long time!!
