![]() Transition Year NewsThe Transition Year students are showing no signs of winding down this year. They have just returned from Barcelona where they enjoyed Port Aventura, the Nou Camp Stadium, a tour of the city, the breathtaking scenery and serenity of Monserrat, and the chilly waters of the Mediterranean. ![]() The students are continuing with their work experience. The Formula 1 design project which the students have had so much success in the past gets underway very soon. Both groups will also be preparing for the prestigious English Speaking Exam and they will all be hoping for top grades in this exam, 24 students will also be attending a trade fair in the coming weeks for the Mini-Company. Recently the class took part in the European Computer Driving Licence. And to add to all this they are preparing for their Graduation night when they can celebrate the fruits of all their hard work along with their proud parents. Good luck to the three 6th year students who recently submitted portfolios of work to Art and Photography Colleges. They were Aaron Kennedy, Stephen McGuire and David Doherty. Well done on your commitment and best of luck with your application Well done to all and keep the foot on the gas.
