Since our last update in March (click here), the final of the AIB competition has taken place in Trinity College, Dublin, and Andrew Lynn emerged as the winner of the Junior Competition. Therefore out of 70 competitors, Andrew was voted the best, and our congratulations are extended to him.
Meanwhile in the corresponding senior tournament, David E Doyle, Cathal Gavin and Rob Ryan all qualified for the final meaning that of the eight finalists, four were from St Aidan's! David proceeded to win second place, only edged out of first after a split adjudication. Again, a fantastic achievement by all.
