On the night of May 20th, St. Aidan's C.B.S. presented the Awards Scheme 2004 for students who achieved outstanding results in various areas of activity during the academic year. The awards are named in honour of several individuals with close ties to St. Aidan's, past and present.
Also receiving presentations in recognition of their achievments were past pupils Paul Clarke, (All-Ireland winner 1994), Eoin Casey, (Tennis player and three time Olympian) and David Brophy, (Assistant Conductor, RTE National Symphony Orchestra) but not before presenting some of the nights awards themselves.
St. Aidan's would like to thank all the sponsors for supporting the event, and any new sponsors willing to come on board would be welcomed. Finally special thanks must go to Mr. Peter McDermott who organised the ceremony.
