Opinions:

What we liked about the Socrates project was the opportunity to learn new English words, to get to know some new people and learn the customs of Irish and Spanish people. We have learned to work in a team and soon we realise that we can learn something in a funny way.

We liked watching photos of our Spanish and Irish friends and found out a lot of interesting facts.

My opinion is that the project Socrates was a good way of improving our, English, getting new information about Irish and Spanish schools and their system. I have got new knowledge about the customs and habits of the different societies. I liked it very much, but what I would like to add is the exchange of students.

I hope that the project will continue and the exchange of students will be the nicest experience of students who will come after us.

When I heard about this project for the first time, I didn’t know what I would do in it. Then I realised that the project is a good alternative of our englisjh lessons. We can meet new friends, learn about their customs and improve our English. Finally we meet each other in Bratislava last year. I think it was the best part of this project.

We all enjoyed the project very much from the beginning although we didn’t exactly know what it would be about. Our first topics were quite simple and we wrote them by hand. Later, when we started to use the school computers and communicated by internet and fax, it appeared more interesting. On the other hand, it took us more free time and effort. Finally, after three-years of work, we meet in Bratislava. We had been looking forward to it for such a long time. What a pity that we couldn’t stay together longer than three days. But also in spite of this fact were really glad to meet new people from different countries. It would be great if we still kept in touch and maybe we met again.

If we didn’t succeed, thee still a chance to work on a project like this in university.
