Peace was the theme that the Art students of St Aidans wished to express in their work which adorned the corridors of the school for this important occasion. The week had been spent designing and painting posters that depicted different symbols and emblems of peace.

A sculpture exhibition was also put up with the motto "No more war, more peace" expressing the students desire for their country.
A plaster sculpture of two figures embracing, by Kevin Corrigan, a sixth year student, emphasised the action we all need to take to embrace peace in our country.
